Tour Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival at Leh

Arrival at Kushok Bakula Airport in Leh where our representative will welcome you and you will be transferred to the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel before 09.30AM and rest till noon at the hotel, to acclimatize to the altitude.  Post lunch, Visit Shanti Stupa &Leh Palace. Later in the evening, walk around the local market and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02 Drive to Sham Valley & Alchi

After breakfast, proceed to the sightseeing of 1000-year-old Alchi monastery, which is the only Gompa in Ladakh region on flat ground. Thereafter proceed to the Likir Monastery, where you can see splendid three storied Dharma Wheel Gompa. Here you'll be awestruck by the sight of the massive Buddha statues, Indus and Zanskar River Sangam. Drive along the Indus River and visit Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and Magnetic Hill (where the cars defy gravity), Basgo Palace (Hiking only) and further on to Leh Hall of Fame (which has a museum of the Kargil War memorabilia). Over Night stay at the Hotel.

Day 03 Trip to Khardung La Pass

After breakfast, drive to Khardung La Pass, which is the world’s highest vehicle-accessible road, situated at 18380 feet above sea level with the jaw-dropping views of snow-capped peaks and mountains. In the afternoon, visit Singhu ghat (the place of the soul-purifying holy bath) and Stok Museum. The museum is around 200 years old and is a showpiece for the royal tankhas, royal crown, dresses, coins, precious stones and turquoise headdresses. Return back to the hotel for Dinner and over Night stay at the Hotel.

 

Day 04 Trip to Pangong Lake

The alluring blue Pangong Lake, which is situated at an altitude of 4350 meters, is the one of the major attraction in Ladakh. (155KM from Leh, 05.00 hours drive each way. Following an early breakfast, proceed to Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding area under army surveillance Enjoy the jaw-dropping view and scenic beauty of Pangong lake, which is a haven for photographers. Drive back to Leh and over Night stay at the Hotel. 

Day 05 Departure from Leh

Checking out from thehotel in the morning and assisted transfer to Leh for your onward flight
