Day 01 Cochin

Localsightseeing in and around Cochin. Cochin, popularly known as the “The Queen of Arabian sea” is a coastalcity in Kerala. Cochin is now one of the major cities in Kerala, well adaptedto timely changes, but still preserves the evidence of its historicalimportance which attracts number of travelers here. Points of interestare the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue as well as the Jewish Street and St.Francis Church with Chinese Fishing Nets in the background. Return to the hotelin the evening after sightseeing and overnight stay at Hotel.

                                                                                                            

Day 02 Cochin – Munnar

After breakfast, check out from Hotel and proceed to Munnar. Munnar is a hill station locatedin Idukki district in Kerala, situated at an altitude about 1600 meters.  This much popular and lovely honeymoon pointis known as “The Kashmir of South India”. This heavenly land is blessed with everything possible that can attracta tourist like lakes, hills, greenery, waterfalls, viewpoints, grasslands andvegetation. Anamudi, the highest peak in South India (2695 m/8883 feet)is nearby. You will be reaching Munnar by noon and after lunch, we will bevisiting Tea plantations and Tea museum in Munnar. Evening, you can spend some timefor shopping and overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 03 Munnar

Afterbreakfast at Hotel, proceed for a full-day outing and visit Eravikulam Nationalpark, Mattupetty dam, Kundala lake, Echo point and Pothamedu view point.Overnight stay at Hotel. 

Day 04 Munnar - Thekkady

Check outfrom the hotel after breakfast and proceed to Thekkady. Check in to the hotelin Thekkady and after lunch, proceed for local sightseeing including PeriyarWildlife Sanctuary, spread over 777 sq. km. including 360 sq. km of denseevergreen forest tract, is one of the most fascinating wildlife reserves inKerala. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 05 Thekkady – Kumarakom

Breakfast atHotel and check-out and proceed to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is a tiny backwaterhamlet perched on the western banks of VembanaduLake. The stretch of backwateris spread over 900 sq. km Check-in Hotel and enjoy the rest of the day atleisure after lunch.

One may choose a canoe or a motor boat and devour the beauty ofthis backwater paradise at its best (Notincluded in the package- Optional)

Overnight Stay at Hotel

Day 06 Alleppey (Houseboat)

Proceedto Bird Sanctuary by 6.00 am, the visit approximately takes 1 hour. After breakfastat Hotel, check out and board Houseboat by 12 noon. Enjoy a traditionalsumptuous lunch while cruising on the Vembanad Lake. Overnight stay in theHouseboat.

 

Day 07 Alleppey –Cochin

Afterbreakfast, check out from House boat. Proceed to Cochin witheverlasting memories of the beautiful Kerala journey.
