Hawaii is the 50th state of United States of America.  It is located in the Oceania, occupying most of an archipelago in Pacific Ocean. It comprises many smaller and larger island groups, out of which Hawaii is referred to as the “Big Island”. Oahu, Kauai, Maui, Lanai, Molokai, Kahoolawe and Niihau are other islands of this group. Out of these, Kahoolawe is owned byUS Navy, Lanai by a Dole Company and Niihau is privately owned.

Hawaii is larger than all other islands combined and hence the name “Big Island”. It has active volcanoes,named Mauna Loa and Kilauea. Hawaii Volcanoes National park, Wailuku River which is the longest waterway in the state, Akaka falls which drops at a heightof 442 feet are the major attractions that this “Big Island” has to offer. Then comes the Kauai, called as“Garden Island”which is famous for the wettest spot on earth, which is Mt.Waialeale. Kauai is that island which has the most spectacular sea cliffs and heavenly & family friendly beaches. Wailua falls, which cascades straight at a height of 80 feet is a major attraction of Kauai. East side of Kauai,nestled by coconut trees, often referred to as Royal coconut coast is rich in tourist attractions like Wailua River state park, Fern Grotto, Nounou Mountain etc.

Maui Island, known as the “ ValleyIsle”, has the renowned Kaanapali Beach and Iao valley, known for its strange Lava formation to offer the tourists. Apart from this, there is the Iao Valley State park, which has alluring scenic beauty is a famous spot for hiking. Other attractions include Haleakala National Park, Pools of Oheo also called as the seven sacred pools, underwater aquarium in the Maalaea Bay which is whale-friendly, awesome golf courses etc.
