Ita Fort

It is believed that the fort is made by the Sutiya Kingdom in14-15 century. Fort made up of irregular brick blocks and surrounded by a large park with 3 entrance gates.

Jawaharlal Nehru Museum

One of the best tribal museums available in the country and which exhibits the culture of Arunachal Pradesh.  This museum is the best mean to get an overall insight into the state's tribes, culture, food habits, clothes, festivals, etc.

Itanagar Wildlife Sanctuary

The sanctuary located in the heart of the city. Best suitable for a one-day family picnic.

Buddha Temple

A holy place located just 2 km travel from the city situated on top of a hillock overlooking the city. The temple is opened in 1996 and it belongs to Mahayana sect of Buddhism. This is one of the'must visit place' to make your mind calm if you are stress out of daily hectic chores. 

Ganga Lake

Pleasant and calm freshwater lake located 5 km away from Itanagar. Boating is the main attraction.

Polo Park

A beautiful botanical garden with a wide collection of orchids located on the hilltop of Naharlagun region. There is a small zoo located near the botanical garden. Cane thicket is the main attraction of the park.

Indira Gandhi Park

A lush green botanical garden located in the center of Itanagar city. It's a venue for many state-level functions.
